We ask that straight hair be 5 inches long, and textured hair be about 3 inches stretched.

Yes. We take pride in being able to lock ALL hair types.

Although each person is different, we suggest root maintenance every 6 to 12 weeks. Locking in new growth helps to create a strong base for your dreadlocks.

Absolutely! We ask that you don’t wash for the first week after installation or maintenance to allow locs to set. Otherwise, if your hair is dirty, wash it.

Yes. We recommend conditioning as needed with a water-soluble conditioner or oil. Keeping your locs hydrated helps prevent brittleness that could result in breakage.

We only recommend water-soluble products to prevent residue build-up. We carry Raw Roots, Intelligent Nutrients, and Davines product lines, providing a wide range of options. 

Some people experience scalp itchiness with dreadlocks, especially after installation or a fresh maintenance. We carry a variety of sprays and oils that can provide itch relief.
