Originally from Boston, Warren did
his apprenticeship under John Santini on Newbury St. for four years. Warren can't say enough about the training and work ethic he learned from him. He inherited John's passion for hair.

Warren moved to Minneapolis in the summer of '90 and worked with Sonia at the Hair Police for another four years, who also helped him tremendously. She gave him a start in Minnesota when he didn't know a soul. It was a great time and and an incredible experience.

At the Hair Police, he met Bonnie whom he would go on to work with for 17 years and counting. Both he and Bonnie left the Hair Police to work at Curl Up and Dye; an opportunity for both to work for themselves. At that time, Sweeney Todd's salon was a future dream....

When Warren first moved to Minnesota, he had the foresight to register the name "Sweeney Todd's" with the State, knowing at some time in the future he would want that as a business name. As he was graduating from high school and going off to hairdressing school, his high school was doing the Sweeney Todd play and he thought what a twisted name for a salon that would be; twenty years
latter a dream was realized......
