Newbie: The newest addition to the Sweeney Todd’s family. She started in May 2007.
Transplant: Jess grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where she honed her remarkable haircutting skills on the porches and in the kitchens of her friends’ houses.
Beauty School: Jess graduated from Aveda Institute Minneapolis in July of 2006.
Happy Haircutting: She enjoys all types of hair and loves all styles; polished to punky….she does it all!
It’s raining men: Men’s haircuts are somewhat of a passion of Jess’s. There’s just something about making guys cuter that makes her “oh so happy!”
Extension of yourself: Jess has just started to learn the art of longer hair in a flash. She took to it like a fish to water and can’t wait to work on more live heads!
I fought the pole and the pole won: This October Jess had and unfortunate run-in with a pole and broke her wrist. Despite the bright pink cast she insisted on going back to work as soon as she could. She refused to let a little thing like a broken bone get in her way of doing the craft she loves.
Color me lovely: Jess loves everything about color whether she’s creating subtle highlights, covering gray, or doing funky color placements!
A-Z: Collecting useless knowledge is somewhat of a hobby for Jess. She has realized that this information has helped her connect with many different types of people. She can hold a conversation with just about anyone.
Ready to Go: Jess is always ready to jump in and create something unique for clients. She is accommodating, friendly, and eager to please!
